Prom 2012

Prom was last night and what a night!

First off, Ashley looked beautiful! She rented the dress this time from Sue's closet. Very cool story - For a personal progress project a young girl started collecting modest prom dresses and allows high school girls to check them out for a thirty dollar deposit and they get it back when they return the dress drycleaned. It gives every girl an opportunity to go to the prom who could not normally afford a dress.

But back to Ashley. She went to the prom with Comegan Cluff, a friend of hers from school.

They went shooting in the morning and then later went on a picnic.

Not everyone was happy with this event. A little boy was miffed because Comegan was not taller, did not have brown hair, or play the drums so he did not approve, but luckily that young man kept his opinion to himself.....

This time it's Mackenzie's turn to dress up.

 The next morning Ashley wore her dress to church and while she was getting ready Mackenzie came in and said Ashley was beautiful. And then she asked Ash if someday she would ever be as beautiful as she was.  Ashley smiled and told her little sister that she would be even more beautiful~

Wow! I love moments like that...

And then the moment was shattered when Joey and Zach start choking each other with the collars of their Sunday shirts.

At least I got a moment!
