Travis is a coupon freak! No joke! At the water cooler at work he gathers with the women to discuss what is on sale that week and which coupons are like gold!
Well, (all the silliest stories start that way) he got a great deal on bacon. I'm talking 30 packages of bacon await my family in the freezer for a later date.
Anyway, Miss Cortney was headed home and noticed the many packages of bacon and wanted to take some home with her. She and her father snugly placed them in her suitcase amongst her shoes, shirts, and pants, and whatever else she brought with her.
Later that night, after arriving in Salt Lake, she started unpacking her things at my brother's house. When she opened the suitcase, she noticed a paper that said her bag had been searched at the airport. I guess the bacon threw off the dogs and they had to figure out what was going on. Can you imagine what they thought when they came across the bacon?
I am still laughing, wondering if the airport workers get together and share odd stories of what people pack in their suitcases. And guessing bacon is probably one of the tame ones! What stories they have to share!
Oh yeah. The bacon survived the plane, the search, and eventually made it to the skillet where Cortney enjoyed it with her cousins,
And she thought bacon ice cream was funny!
