It's 3AM and all is quiet throughout the house. A bolt of lightening and a thunderous boom shakes the windows and not a soul is still sleeping. (Except Joey, but that is so another story for another day) I don't think we have ever had five kids in the bed with us at one time. The kids were very excited after the initial shock wore off. Everyone had to stay up and watch the rain. It's kind of like the circus. It only comes every so often and it is quite a show. Candles were lit, giggles were heard, and fascination with the lightening was thick in the air. No, wait, that was the humidity. Once everything calmed down and the storm passed, everyone went back to bed about 4:30, just in time for Travis to go to work and Joey to start his day. Thank goodness the monsoon only comes around once a year. Then again, if it came more often, We would not make such a big deal about it at 3 in the morning.

What a night! Josh slept through the night and missed the whole show. I'm not sure how he did that! I ended up sleeping with the girls. It was and adventure.
