My mom is so excited about the twins! She has been planning a baby shower for a few months now, but the sad part is we did not listen as well as we should have and when it came time for the shower, she was disappointed that we had a band competition that night. So we did the next best thing! We planned one on Thursday night at the Olive Garden. It was a lot of fun!
The two Myrnas came as well as Linda Wiley. Susan Gornik could not make it and Debbie couldn't either. But she came up on Friday night and spent the night. She, Lauren, and Jeff have plenty of time to visit.
The shower was really for mom. We had a lot of fun talking and visiting, and the girls sat a the other end of the table talking and gossiping. You know, things they do very well. Cortney joined us a little later, after she got out of school. It was really ice to see her. I don't get enough of that! I need to work on that. Lauren got a lot of good stuff and my mom had a great evening! It was a success!!!
