Debbie came up for a short visit this weekend with her husband. Randy and some kids from the high school he teaches at were participating in a decathalon in Queen Creek. He was off competing with them and my parents took us girls out to eat dinner. (The boys could have come but they were conveniently at home in Salt Lake so that didn't work.)
It was great, except my dad said something roughly about robbing a bank but I can't be sure. He is so quiet, you know. All in all it was a nice dinner.
We ended about 6:45 pm and my parents had to rush home since it was past their bedtime so we went back to Debbie's hotel room and gossiped... I mean visited. It was a nice evening and a reminder that we really need to get together more often because there is no one like family to remind you that you are loved.
And a good bowl of ice cream!
